Description / Co2 Cryo Hose
CryoFX® High Pressure Co2 Hose is perfect for Liquid or Gas Co2 Applications.
USA Made, Manufactured in Las Vegas, Customizable to ANY length or ANY fitting same day!
Pressure Note For "Co2 Special Effects":
Co2 generally does not get above 1000psi in normal temperature and working conditions, despite almost never reaching 2000psi in "Co2 Special Effects". Therefore hoses rated at 3000 psi or more are overkill for special effects purposes, will weigh more, and are not as flexible. However, if you need them, we have them also!
Pricing is Per Foot and comes standard with 3/8" NPT crimped fittings on each end.
NPT - National Pipe Thread, which is generally used within the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America.
Swivel (Called "Pro Series") connection is normally selected in place of Quick Disconnect fittings as Quick Disconnect fittings inhibit the flow of Liquid Co2, reducing plume size and output. Swivel connections are similar to JIC in that they do not require thread tape, just two wrenches, which professionals have on site already! A Swivel connection counterpart is a Male NPT of the same size.
BSPP - British Standard Pipe Thread Parallel, which is generally used in the European Union, and all other surrounding continents except Japan, N. & S. Korea, and China. (Please check local fitting names for confirmation. For questions, please email us at Sales at CryoFX.com)
Quick Disconnect - For Special Effects purposes come is two types, "A" and "B". See images for different examples. The female QD (Quick Disconnect) A and B look the same but are not. They are identifiable by the markings on the ring, which will note ISO7241-A XXX" or ISO7241-B XXX" whereas A or B notate the type and XXX" is the size (3/8, 1/2, etc). Other markings may show KZE-## XXX" BSP, KZE-#-## XXX" BSP, or KZE-SF-XXX" or something similar, whereas the #'s notate a number (generally relevant to the type depending on the manufacturer) and the XXX" is the size (3/8, 1/2, etc). Send us an email or text with photos (best method) of your fitting or the alphanumeric notation on the fittings and we can help with identification.
